According to TrendForce’s latest memory spot price trend report. Details are as follows:
DRAM Spot Price:
Spot prices have not dropped further this week, but there is no upward momentum because the demand from the retail market is tepid. Reball DDR4 1Gx8 chips previously stripped from modules are trading within US$0.97-0.98. However, deals are being made sporadically for this product category. As for DDR5 products, demand is more stable, and there has been a significant amount of transactions. Nevertheless, spot prices of DDR5 products are not rising as well. Kingston has lowered module prices in order to spur purchases, but demand is lacking. Due to this situation, spot prices of mainstream chips have not risen noticeably. The average spot price of the mainstream chips (i.e., DDR4 1Gx8 2666MT/s) has not changed from last week and is holding steady at US$1.995.
NAND Flash Spot Price:
Module houses are generally conservative amidst the stagnated level of spot transactions. A correction has been observed from prices diverging from the slight extent of transactions among several sellers’ ridding of inventory at low prices, as well as the restricted reduction of mainstream prices. Spot prices of 512Gb TLC wafers have dropped by 0.58% this week, arriving at US$3.253.
