The foldable industry is advancing rapidly, with competition intensifying as more companies enter the market. As the market continues to grow, companies are introducing innovative features for foldable devices. According to a report from TechNews, citing Wccftech, Samsung is reportedly developing a dual-folding, triple-screen foldable device. Sources suggest that this triple-screen Galaxy Fold model could be launched as early as next year.

The report highlights that Samsung’s smartphone lineup has received a lukewarm response this year. While the company acknowledges that changes to its product lineup have been gradual, it promises significant innovations in the coming year. Citing industry sources, the report suggests that Samsung may be gearing up for a major breakthrough in foldable devices.

According to the report from Wccftech, sources suggest that Samsung is working on a Fold Z Variant (Triple), which is expected to launch next year. The report indicates that Samsung is actively exploring new directions in foldable technology.

This foldable device will feature dual in-folding hinges, differing from the outward- and inward-folding hinge designs of Huawei Mate XT, as the report notes.

This design allows for an independent external display, unlike traditional foldable display that typically serve as both the main screen and external screen. The report highlights that Samsung’s innovative approach could enhance the device’s usability and multitasking capabilities.

According to the report, citing industry sources, Samsung is developing a special edition of the Galaxy Z Fold 7, expected to launch alongside the standard model. Sources suggest that Samsung has major upgrades planned, and a Galaxy Z Flip 7 FE is expected to come with the Flip 7.
