According to TrendForce’s latest memory spot price trend report, regarding DRAM, spot prices of reball DDR4 chips from decommissioned modules finally showed signs of halting their decline, as DDR4 chips from the Chinese supplier have remained mostly stable. As for NAND flash, spot prices are expected to remain on the descending trajectory amidst the sluggish purchase sentiment. Details are as follows:

DRAM Spot Price:

Looking back over the past week, spot prices of reball DDR4 chips from decommissioned modules showed signs of halting their decline, with prices of 1Gb x8 chips rising a bit from US$0.7 to around US$0.75. Spot prices of DDR4 chips from the Chinese supplier have remained mostly stable, fluctuating little and staying within the US$0.95-1 range. Likewise, DDR5 products have not experienced noticeable price changes in the spot market. There has been a slight increase in the overall transaction volume, but upward price momentum is not apparent. TrendForce maintains a negative and cautious outlook on spot price trends in the short term. Regarding the average spot price of mainstream chips (i.e., DDR4 1Gb x8 3200MT/s), it has fallen by 1.6% from US$1.558 last week to US$1.533 this week.

NAND Flash Spot Price:

The spot market has not been affected by the potential production cut among suppliers, especially seen from the level of transactions that has yet to expand sizably. Spot prices are expected to remain on the descending trajectory amidst the sluggish purchase sentiment after the peak season of e-commerce promotions has come to an end.
