According to TrendForce’s latest memory spot price trend report, regarding DRAM, consumer demand remains weak post-Lunar New Year, with DDR4 spot prices falling due to the abundant supply from CXMT. As for NAND flash, transactions were lethargic, while efficacy of production cuts by suppliers has yet to be reflected on the market end. Details are as follows:

DRAM Spot Price:

Consumer demand has remained weak after the Lunar New Year holiday, so spot prices of DRAM products lingered at low levels. However, there are temporary price hikes for some DDR5 products due to special needs from some buyers. Spot prices of DDR4 products continue to slide because CXMT have released a plentiful amount of supply. The average spot price of mainstream chips (i.e., DDR4 1Gx8 3200MT/s) has stayed at US$1.458 this week.

NAND Flash Spot Price:

Market transactions were lethargic over the past week due to China’s long New Year holiday. Efficacy of production cuts successively announced by suppliers has not been reflected on the market end, where buyers carry on with their wait-and-see approach. No major changes have been observed from transactions within the spot market. Spot prices of 512Gb TLC remain unchanged at US$2.400 this week.
