TrendForce discloses the latest panel prices for early March, with details as follows.

  • TV

TV panel demand remained stable in March, though uncertainties, such as tariff issues, have emerged. Brand clients are sticking to their procurement plans but may adjust orders if end-demand changes. Panel makers are aware of this risk and are preparing for capacity adjustments to maintain balance. As a result, price negotiations are expected to intensify in the coming months.

China’s “old-for-new” policy continues to boost demand, and Chinese brands remain active in procurement. Therefore, TV panel prices in March are expected to rise, though the increase may slow.

Prices for 32″ panels are expected to rise by $0.5, 43″ by $1, 50″ remains unchanged, and 55″, 65″, and 75″ panels are expected to rise by $1, $1, and $2, respectively.

  • MNT

Thanks to the ongoing rise in TV panel prices and panel makers’ preparations, MNT panel prices are expected to increase across the board in March.

However, uncertainties in market demand, due to issues like tariffs, are growing. As a result, panel makers and clients have differing views on price increases, requiring more time for negotiations.

Overall, MNT panel prices are expected to show a slight upward trend in March. Open Cell panels are forecasted to rise by $0.1-$0.2, while panel modules are expected to increase by $0.1-$0.2 for 21.5″ FHD, $0.2-$0.3 for 23.8″ FHD, and $0.1 for 27″ FHD.

  • NB

NB panel demand has remained steady in recent months. Tariff issues have had less impact on brands that have completed their setups, while those still in progress are accelerating preparations and stocking up. As a result, first-quarter demand stays stable.

Panel makers are focused on maintaining good customer relationships and securing orders, taking a wait-and-see approach due to market uncertainties. With brand customers already stocked up, both sides remain cautious, and panel prices are expected to stay stable in March.
