According to a recent survey by WitsView, a research division of TrendForce, LCD monitor shipment from global top ten brand vendors declined by 4.2% MoM to 10.75 million units in May 2010. According to the latest survey from WitsView, a research division of TrendForce, large-sized panel shipments grew 8.5% MoM to 55.8 million units in May 2010. Downstream vendors restocked aggressively in May due to the potential unbalance in panel supply and demand in 3Q10.
According to WitsView’s top 10 monitor brand survey, total monitor shipments reduced by 2.6% MoM to 11.22 million units in April 2010. The main reason is the potential losses from panel price decline of inventory on hand.
According to WitsView’s global survey, top ten monitor SI shipments fell by 2.6% QoQ to 38.36 million units in 1Q10. Meanwhile, top ten monitor brand shipments declined by 6.3% QoQ to 33.12 million units.
According to WitsView’s latest survey, global large-sized panel shipments fell by 4% MoM to 51.44 million units in April 2010. This can be mainly attributed to the overinflated demand from high expectations of the hot season in 1Q10, which led to excessive product pull-in, and caused the gradual inventory build-up among brand vendors.
