The prices of most LED package products in the Chinese market remained stable in February 2018, and some of the products saw slight price drop as suppliers tried to clear inventory, says LEDinside, a division of TrendForce.
LEDinside, a division of TrendForce, reports that some high and mid-power LED package products in China's market witnessed slight price drop in January 2018 as suppliers were trying to clear inventory at the year end.
LEDinside, a division of TrendForce, reports that the prices of mainstream LED package products in China's market were generally stable in December 2017. In both high-power and mid-power segments, prices witnessed no obvious fluctuation, but the prices of LED package products are expected to go down in 1Q18.
Major Chinese LED chip suppliers including San’an Optoelectronics and HC SemiTek have lowered their product prices recently, indicating the end of LED chip price hike that had lasted for one and a half year. According to LEDinside, a division of TrendForce, the recent price drop signals the end of LED chip undersupply, and the next year will witness a balance in LED chip supply and demand.
