Despite recent rumors speculating on NVIDIA’s supposed cancellation of the B100 in favor of the B200A, TrendForce reports that NVIDIA is still on track to launch both the B100 and B200 in the 2H24 as it aims to target CSP customers. Additionally, a scaled-down B200A is planned for other enterprise clients, focusing on edge AI applications.

TrendForce reports that demand for EV cells remained stable in July. However, the continued price decline for cathodes—coupled with falling prices for battery metals such as cobalt, nickel, and particularly copper—led to a reduction in the cost of battery materials and a slight drop in battery cell prices. In July, the prices of EV cells decreased by 2% compared to June. Monthly ASP for square ternary, square LFP, and pouch ternary EV battery cells were CNY 0.48/Wh, 0.41/Wh, and 0.50/Wh, respectively.

It is anticipated that OLEDoS will dominate the high-end VR/MR market, with its technological share rising to 23% by 2030, while LCD will continue to occupy the mainstream market, holding a 63% share in near-eye displays.
