March 31, 2009---Battered by the DRAM downturn over the past two years, most DRAM makers are facing cash sufficiency problems and may default payment due in the short term.
Taipei, March 24th ,2009---- The NAND Flash contract price hit bottom at the end of 2008 and started to rebound. Upstream suppliers will face price pressure un 2Q for slow season while downstream vendors are dealing with higher cost. Says DRAMeXchange.
Taipei, March 18, 2009---According to WitsView’s survey, global large-sized panel shipments (including the 8.9” and above) reached 27.82 million units in Feb09, up by 25.1% MoM. But on a YoY basis, it still amounted to a 16.1% fall. After 5 consecutive monthly declines since Sep08, an increase was finally witnessed in Feb09.
Taipei, March 25, 2009---According to WitsView’s survey, the Top 10 SIs shipped a total of 10.5 million monitors in February, up by16.2% MoM. Although February belongs to the traditional weak seasonality, a high level of business activity was seen, as downstream brand and retailers’ continued to replenish their inventory.
Mar.10 th, 2009, Taipei---- Due to rush orders from downstream clients, NAND Flash average contract price of 1H March, 2009 showed stability or slight rise. Currently, the rush orders are mainly from the restocking demand in the China domestic market, especially for white-box or copycat (or so-called mountain-bandit in China) cell phone applications, says DRAMeXchange.
